Ghetto Biennale transformed the neo-gothic grandeur of Alpha60 Chapter House into an evolving exhibition and gathering space for RISING. There was ritual, music and movement set among a living museum of objects—assemblages, portraits and sculptures that merge human ephemera with rusted machine parts and MTV detritus.
